First thing I thought when I saw it.
Hate to say it but my first thought was maybe she got caught with drugs, or he just threatened her with that charge, and he made her an offer. They took a walk to the pier and she blew him away. Or as 'Big Sal' used to say "She put the whack on him."
In the picture of her at the range she had enough training not to put her finger on the trigger but on the glock she did not know that.

From this distance the whole story sounds fishy and suspect. Rich entitled woman very familiar with guns, used to getting her way with a fear/vendetta against the local constables, plays poor scared little princess claiming the bad gun went off by itself. Sure princess.
Too bad it wasn't a sig. They just fire by themselves. Multiple cops have attested to that after shooting themselves
