Suppressors Ruger 22/45 with 1911 Novak sights

I am setting up my new 22/45 to mimic my 1911 setup. I already have the same grips on both, and the trigger as close to a match as possible. I would like to have the same sights on both as well. Is there any reason that I couldn't have the upper factory sights removed, and have a set of matching Novak's installed?
