What can you guys tell about the discontinued M77 Hawkeye Tactical rifles in the hogue stocks, 20’inch bull barrels in 223? Reviews? Good and bad?

Friend had one that he used as his varmint rifle - gun was very accurate with a variety of loads - BUT - the Hogue stock is a love it or hate it proposition - Ruger 77 seems to have minimal aftermarket support / parts available for it ( so if you like to tinker or change stuff out -you are probably going to frustrated ). He was very happy with it in its factory configuration and tickled with the accuracy - so it was good for him.
Me....I like to change stuff...............
