    so cal
I bought an RPR and all the upgrades for it and then had the thing cerakoted. Upon final assembly I noticed the safety selector wasn't working. I back out the rear take down screw, the one that goes in the back of the lower, a couple of turns and the safety selector works again. I called Ruger and they claim the torque setting is 90 in lbs so I went back and torque to that number and sure enough the safety selector is binding again. Anyone have any idea what I am missing?

    Thanks

While not technical, When I recvd my RPR that rear screw was loose and my safety was binding. I took the rifle apart per the manual, cleaned, lubed and reassembled, same thing. I did add lube to the safety where it contacts the tab in the trigger group, worked the safety about 75 times and it's fine now.
