Ruger could save themselves trouble by including call tags with each gun sold. They must be the king of recalls.

These aren't recent recalls, are they? I remember seeing at least the SR9 bulletin previously.
While no customer ever likes to get a recall notice, I have to give credit to Ruger for identifying problems and offering a comprehensive fix for all owners, instead of blaming the customer or playing games with statistics.

In 2008, Ruger received a small number of reports from the field indicating that LCP pistols could discharge when dropped onto a hard surface with a round in the chamber. We are firmly committed to safety and would like to retrofit all older LCP Pistols. The retrofit involves installation of an upgraded hammer mechanism at no charge to the customer.
Older Recalls, I have a ruger LCP that is a nice little carry gun.
