Any of you guys have one. What are your thoughts on it good or bad.

I have a friend that has one and I got to shoot it a couple weeks ago. It was impressive. The accuracy was very good.

I know when they first came out they had a problem with carrier tilt but I think they fixed that.

I'm thinking of getting one.

Re: Ruger SR 556

I have one. After 10 weeks and less than 200 rounds fired it went from 1.25"-1.5" groups to shot gun groups. Sent it back to Ruger got it back in 2 weeks from the time they received it. They paid shipping both ways. They replaced the entire upper, bolt safety and saftey spring and detent. No explanation on what went wrong. Now back to shooting 1.25"-1.5" groups. Other than that IMO it's alot of gunfor the money IMO.

Re: Ruger SR 556

i just picked up one on Wednesday but in 6.8SPC and it being my first AR-15 i had a blast. The grapefruit i was hunting never had a chance... I ran out of paper targets and had a few soft grapefruits and decided what the hell. At a lil over 100yds it was great.

It's a lil on the heavy side with the 762SD can but overall I liked it.

I like mine. It is a little heavy. I have no signs of carrier tilt. At about the 1200 rnd mark i did install one of the "heavy buffers" anti-tilt buffers. this was to slow the carrier down. Even on setting 1, with the suppressor on I had some cycling issues with some ammo. No "can" and on setting 2 I never had an issue.
