Suppressors Rugged Surge 762

Yes recoil is excellent but even more awesome is the self timing feature vs the damn peel washers when installing the rugged break.
This what I kinda fretted when I first looked into the surge because I knew I would want to switch between barrels and rifles, but this solves it completely. I have the jet blast and its great.

Same as jet blast but with rugged QB. The surge has nothing to do with switching between barrels. You buy breaks for every barrel..dont ask how many I have

Lol, I'm not sinking a fortune in brakes I'll buy one pva brake adapter and switch it out as needed, I do the same with the jet blast adds an extra 30 seconds.

The surge is a great suppressor. I love mine and I own quite a few cans. Accurate ordnance tests all their rifles with Rugged suppressors and I trust accurate ordnance with my rifle and a few of my prefits for my AI’s.

I also own a dead air nomad and while it is a good can my surge of better.

I have the following cans.
Thunder Beast Ultra 9
Rugged Surge
Rugged Razor
Rugged Odsidian .45
Rugged Oculus .22
Dead Air Nomad

A few surefire cans I don’t shoot anymore.

I used to own
SilencerCo omega
SilencerCo sparrow II
The omega was sold and replaced my the Nomad

The Rugged Surge is my favorite can. It’s super quiet and it’s built like a tank. I use it on all my rifles, bolt or semi auto.

I run the rugged cans on my semi’s because they are really low back pressure and Blowback is minimal.
May be a stupid question, but Have you tried to use the surge 762 in a 22 long rifle?

I just did all my paperwork on the Surge, I bought it mainly for a bolt .308 but don’t see any reason it would not work in a .22. Rugged says it’s not recommended but don’t know if that is just to sell another suppressor.

Its because that thing will get clogged up with lead BIG TIME thats why its always best to have a dedicated 22LR can. Have you shot a 22LR can before. Wait till you see how much lead builds up inside and how often you have to clean it. A Surge 7.62 on the other hand on centerfire guns you dont clean. Like ever and thats exactly what Rugged recommends...

The 762 will be my first can. I have never shot a 22 with a can. I guess my question is in anyway would the 22 damage the can?
