Re: Runoutttt!!!

Gotta get to bed. These sinclair tools are cool. I've been neck turning .308 on a bunch of fireformed remington brass. The necks have had runout of upwards of 5/1000's before turning. After expandrium, turning, and then neck sizing, runout is less than 2/1000's near the shoulder. Prolly fine.

I checked some fireformed nosler brass I got in .260 Rem. It is fine brass with neck runout less than 1/1000. Sometimes zero (at least according to the meter). Good to go.

The brass I got with this gap rifle dealeo from some guy named John who said he owned US Optics, (yeah, right) is remington brass and shows like almost zero runout as well after running it through the redding FL die and then loading it with scenars. That nosler brass has been fired in that John USO dude's former gun so the practically zero runout means the chamber is damn near perfect and the brass as well to my way of thinking. My loaded but not fired rounds with remington brass show bullet runout of 1/1000 measured at the ogive. Oh well. Misses gotta be me. Wish I had time during the day, between the rain, work, honey-do's, dog accidents, to shoot more.... when I get out to shoot I only get to shoot at steel and I'm rushing against sundown. My verification of accuracy, is: shot...tink...shot...tink...shot...tink....

Re: Runoutttt!!!

If that's the .260 package John was selling a while back, I'm sure there's a line of people, me in front, that will gladly give you your money back for it and take it off your hands...
