I'll post some of my newest creations here.

    338 norma mag
    Badger m2008
    barlein gain twist 1-10.25-9.5
    pdc custom folding stock
    UNS rail
    surefire supressor
    USO 5-25 scope

I had the bolt melontine coated and then I reworked the firing pin and spring to make the bolt lift easier and smoother.

Re: Badger m2008 PDC custom stock

Doggone, that's got to be a fair sized stick to make a 5 - 25X look "normal". Nicely done.

    Cheers,

    Doc

Re: Badger m2008 PDC custom stock

I looked at the website for the stock and did not see any listing for the Badger M2008. Was this a special order? I really like the stock. How much does it weigh?

Re: Badger m2008 PDC custom stock

I could only wish that I had some long distance place to shoot it. Like a very long corn field in November lying in wait for a huge buck to cross a field at 1300 yards. Oh yea, I woke up and I live in Virginia. Not a lot of places that I own where I could shoot that great looking rifle.

Craig at PDC is going to be offering them up for sale. I just sent him pictures so that he can update his website.

Re: Badger m2008 PDC custom stock

Very nice build Robert! I have to say, and someone correct me if I am wrong, but that action and stock look like they are a made for one another. Looks like the perfect combination.

Re: Badger m2008 PDC custom stock

Thanks for the info Robert. Yeah, Craig sent me an e-mail with info on the stock. I'll have to agree with 8up, the weapon looks like one solid piece of equipment.

that 5-25x TPAL on the rifle looks like 3.2-17x on a regular sized 308 rifle.

very well done. will you be taking it to the range to test fire?

Re: Badger m2008 PDC custom stock

I have shot a 300 Norma built by Robert and it was a freaking hammer, they shoot as good as they look if not better.

I remember viewing this work of art on your site a while ago and thought it was one of the best looking rifles I have ever seen!
