Has anyone got to play with the close combat 1-8 from Schmidt and Bender? Thoughts?

I have gotten to play with a few of them. Do you mean the new one? The true 1x ? It is very nice. The others are great, but I could not recommend them, since this new one is coming.

I have one and am very happy with it. I really like the SFP dot. The FFP dot in my 1-4 Short Dots is my only complaint with them.

Guys, the S&B SFP 1-8 CQB CC Short Dot is an outstanding scope, by far the best overall 1-8 on the market....and I’ve tried/run most all of them.
The “New” dual illumination scope is not out yet and may not be available until god only knows when....and it’s highly unlikely that it will be any different optically than the current SFP 1-8.
