Rifle Scopes S&B 1-8x options

This may be old news but it appears S&B is actually releasing 3 different 1-8x options this year - 1-8x24 short dot, 1-8x24 high power and a 1.5-8x26 short dot. Pricing was listed as $3799, $3699 and $3199 respectively. I was told these would be available by October but you know how that goes...

With the original 1-8x Short Dot "2 Plane" all but dead at this point (apparently red dots in both focal planes is a huge engineering obstacle), this is very welcomed news but I'm curious if any of the dealers/insiders have better information. I have held out on the CQBSS hoping for one of these and am getting VERY anxious at this point.

S&B started shipping and we have the S&B Exos 1-8x24 LM - FD7 Reticle (780-811-708) in stock Schmidt & Bender - Camera Land NY
They claim the rest of the line will follow shortly

I can't speak to the three scopes you have listed, but I can tell you that the first thing I noticed with the S&B 1-8 is the small exit pupil at 8x. The red dot is nice and bright and the glass is typical of S&B.

Is anything in the PMII 1-8 line actually shipping yet?

I'm seeing plenty of sites willing to take orders but no reviews from anyone with a scope in hand......
