Is a 45moa AI mount too much declination to achieve a good zero at 100 yards? The scope is a s&b 5-25x56. I am wondering if I will bottom out trying to zero at 100 yards.

I run an 45 AI MOA dovetail scope mount on my AI AWSM with the S&B 5-25x56. Works great, zero at 100 yards, np. The S&B 5-25x56 was made to work with a 45 MOA mount.

The 45moa AI mount works perfectly with the S&B 5-25x, zero at 100 and shoot out to 1500+ no prob.

The 45 moa mount was designed FOR the 5-25x56. It has enough travel. Furthermore, if you don't get the 45 moa mount, you'll need to machine the mount, as the 18 moa and 28 moa mounts don't have enough clearance for the elevation turret.
