Rifle Scopes S&B 5-20 Ultra Short Elevation Turret Confusion

Just received a S&B 5-20 Ultra Short with a double turn CCW MTC turret. The manual it came with (as well as every pdf version and every thread I could find) talks about there being two 2mm Allen screws on the elevation turret which are used for zeroing, and a slotted screw which is not to be used for anything. Well, mine has three 2mm Allen screws and one slotted screw. The manual specifically states to only loosen two Allen screws, well which two? They look identical, I can't tell them apart at all, and are 90 degrees offset from each other (so 0, 90, 180, and the slotted screw is at 270 degrees as you're looking down at the turret from above). Any ideas?

Have two S&B PM II's with the MTC turrets and both of them only have 2 allen screws and one slotted. With the elevation set to zero, the allen screws are in the 90 and 180 degree position and are the ones you loosen. Generally the slotted ones are sealed with either silicone or a rubber plug. Not a good idea to remove the turret since it is a real PITA to get it back on again due to the zero stop and DT mechanism. Don't ask me how I know.

None of the holes are plugged. If one of these Allen screws isn't meant to be touched, I want to know whose brilliant idea it was to make all three the same.

Picture of slotted screw added to show that there are four.

I’m pretty sure mine only has the 2 Allen screws and the one slotted screw? I’m looking a photos to determine this, but will be home this evening and will confirm. The slotted screw is supposedly the one that secured the turret, so you should be ok loosening the allen head screws.
