Thank you. This helped remind me about the type of shooting that I actually do, and based on this, perhaps the SFP is the way to go...for me.

    I picked up a standard ATACR enhanced for my ELR rifle. I have found that detecting and eliminating parallax has been much much easier than with my FFP scopes, and I love the fine reticle. On the flip side, I've become very comfortable with FFP scopes where the reticle hashes match the turret adjustments at any magnification, and my first outing with the ELR rifle ended up burning a handful of $5 bills chasing the turret adjustments just to zero it. My bad.

    Neither scope design is bad, both have their place. Thanks for the excellent reminder Lowlight.
