With the price drop on the S&B I'm trying to decide if I should wait for the Nightforce or get the S&B. I looked at the Mil-C reticle at the Shot Show and liked it a lot. S&B didn't have the H2CMR reticle to look through. They are both great scopes. They both have the .2 mil radian holds. The Nightforce has a center hold dot. I do have a Nightforce ATACR F1 Mil-R on my AI AT with a 6.5 Creedmore barrel coming. Want to try a different reticle. Going to a few schools this year where I will shoot out to 1000 yards plus with the hope of entering a few matches in the future. Right now I'm not interested in a Xmas tree reticle. The eye box on both scopes seemed the same. Any thoughts guys?

I have the H2CMR in a 5-25x56 DT and in a 3-20x50 non-US. I love the reticle for both hunting and banging steel way out. Glass in both are absolutely amazing as well.

I also have a Kahles K624i w. the SKMR. That is my favorite reticle ever.

I have looked through several NF ATACR F1 5-25, and the glass did not compare to either the S&B or the Kahles in my opinion.

I have a couple of S&B's with H2CMR's and NF ATACR's with MIL-R reticles, both have excellent glass and resolution, better than most everything out there except for Hensoldt and far superior to Kahles. Both have excellent/reliable tracking and turrets. S&B has a superior exterior finish and better magnification adjustment. That is one of my gripes with NF, I hate how the entire ocular turns with magnification adjustment, they need to fix that. The H2CMR is the best illuminated reticle that S&B offers.
Since you have the NF ATACR, I would try the S&B if I were you. Not sure where you are looking to purchase but Jason at Eurooptic can hook you up and give you a great deal on one. I can't say enough good about Eurooptic, they are the best people I have dealt with in the last 20+ years.

I liked the glass on the Nightforce. I just wanted to try a different reticle. I did look through the Kahles 6-24X56 SKMR at the Shot Show and liked that also.
