Rifle Scopes S&B 8x56 for hunting rifle

I am looking for a hunting scope for a ruger no.1 i have. I am thinking about this scope. I like fixed power scopes, and this might do it for me. I want a low light scope, the only concern is the size, which i can live with. A guy has one for 700 and i am thinking hard on it.

Anyone have experience with the s&b klassik?

that was the other one i was looking at. i figured between the two, the s&b would be better. but where i live, the chances of getting hands on either of them is slim to none, and slim left town 3 weeks ago.

Meopta always gives S&B a run for their money. Dollar for dollar that is.

I'm sure you can find an online vendor will a good return policy. Especially if you tell 'em you plan to buy both and return the one you don't like
