Re: S.H.O.T. Show 2012 Optics Update by SWFA, Inc.

Oh sure you do, I did not hit on everything....just the most interesting. Plus there are many products that we cannot mention yet.

Re: S.H.O.T. Show 2012 Optics Update by SWFA, Inc.

I'm interested to see how that Vortex Ranger rangefinder turns out.

Re: S.H.O.T. Show 2012 Optics Update by SWFA, Inc.

Specifically, what is SWFA rolling out this year & when can we expect to see it?

Re: S.H.O.T. Show 2012 Optics Update by SWFA, Inc.

Me too, but is it really only a 1000? I would think the market was plenty full of those

Re: S.H.O.T. Show 2012 Optics Update by SWFA, Inc.

Can't wait to hear the reviews of the Vortex 2.5-10x32 FFP PST.

Fingers crossed that SWFA releases a similar SS scope before the PST........? Pretty please?

Re: S.H.O.T. Show 2012 Optics Update by SWFA, Inc.

What about Sightron? Maybe they fixed that eft up reticle in the s111 adjustable turret.

Re: S.H.O.T. Show 2012 Optics Update by SWFA, Inc.

A 1-8 nf or swfa would put me in the poorhouse. Seriously!! I feel like this year has brought so many great optics that I need a year to catch up.

Re: S.H.O.T. Show 2012 Optics Update by SWFA, Inc.

SWFA is so secret they won't even comment on when they will comment!!! Info is locked up tighter than a dicks hatband!

Re: S.H.O.T. Show 2012 Optics Update by SWFA, Inc.

What exactly is the Leupold Mark 6? Google isn't coming up with anything, and the prices are slightly below their new 3,000$ Mark 4 ER/T they introduced last year.

When new scopes/models are introduced, is there sometimes an introductory special price? Or is the sales (if any) going to be on the outgoing models?

Re: S.H.O.T. Show 2012 Optics Update by SWFA, Inc.

would love to see what ever happened to the sightron SIII 1-7x scope

Re: S.H.O.T. Show 2012 Optics Update by SWFA, Inc.

If that bushnell 1-6.5 has a daylight visible dot and decent glass, that might give the IOR a run for it's money...

Re: S.H.O.T. Show 2012 Optics Update by SWFA, Inc.

Sightron will have a working 1-7x in the booth and another scope that will get a lot of interest.

Updated the list above with the Leupold "Zombie" and rumored info about a new Trijicon scope.

Re: S.H.O.T. Show 2012 Optics Update by SWFA, Inc.

Thought about driving up...Good thing I checked dates. It's next week not tomorrow?!

Re: S.H.O.T. Show 2012 Optics Update by SWFA, Inc.

Trijicon shows a picture of the new scope in an industry magazine calling the scope the "TARS". 3-15x , zero stop, locking windage and elevation adjusters, ill FFP ret, MOA or MIL adjuster/reticle configs....

Looks robust and possibly a 50 mm obj.

It's about time they put their foot through the door on a tactical scope with those features. They have the glass part down as aparent with their Acogs or to my eyes anyway.

Re: S.H.O.T. Show 2012 Optics Update by SWFA, Inc.

SWFA....... maybe you missed it above......?

What are you guys rolling out?

Can we expect anything new, or will I be forced to look at another brand? I have your great 3-9, but want a little more, but less than the 5-20 both in power and weight. I need to buy some new glass soon.

Care to throw us some sort of bone? Waiting with money in hand......... for a bit yet.

Re: S.H.O.T. Show 2012 Optics Update by SWFA, Inc.

Wow, it looks like the TARS is one hefty scope! 47 ounces!

Re: S.H.O.T. Show 2012 Optics Update by SWFA, Inc.

what's the estimate price of the TARS?

Just what i was thinking. I think my SN-3 is 32oz and it's heavy. Damn lol

Re: S.H.O.T. Show 2012 Optics Update by SWFA, Inc.

47oz! Wow, wtf is that thing made of? What does Zero Forward Emission mean?

Flyingbullseye

Re: S.H.O.T. Show 2012 Optics Update by SWFA, Inc.

47oz - should be some kind of mistake - aluminum on earth will run out with such kind of scope weight....

Zero forward emission - I think it means no one from the front can see the lit reticle,

Re: S.H.O.T. Show 2012 Optics Update by SWFA, Inc.

is it just me or does the adjustments on the current trijicon models feel really mushy and cheap feeling?? not their ACOG put the regular target turret models. hopefully this this scope is different.
