Just put a couple of boxes of ammo thru it last weekend. A nice little gun. It'll take some getting use to on the trigger, though. long heavy pull; but just fine. How about the rest of you who have shot this gun??

I like the LCP better. The laser on the Bodyguard is terrible. Sometimes its hard to activate. In a real life situation its one more step you have to think about, when you really need to point and shoot. If I where to use a laser it would be a crimson trace, that automatically comes on when you grip the handle.

Laser activation buttons have been reworked to allow for easier on/off.
S&W will send them to you if you don't want to ship your gun.
BG380 is, IMHO, a much more "shootable" gun. Has real sights, safety and better ergos. Trigger pull is "revolver-like" in that trigger pull cocks the hammer instead of slide movement. Mine has several hundred rounds thru it now with no issues mechanical or laser.

Good that they have reworked that terrible button. I still don't like the fact that I will have to move my finger away from the trigger to activate the laser. Sights are nice I admit, but for a point and shoot gun it's not really needed. With the crimson trace on the LCP or Keltec you just have to pull your gun and you can quickly see the laser on the target, no button to play with to activate it, and no high sights needed.

I also had the Body Guard 38 which I reviewed on here. I need to update the review. At first I liked it all but the location of the laser activation button (used thumb). The laser started to be unreliable, (it would not come on, or it would sometimes go off after you fired). The revolver also started to hang up sometimes. Something to due with the male end in female end design. I didn't bother sending it back, and sold it to someone you was OK with S&W services.
