I bought 1k of pulled and sized API bullets for reloading my 50, but they are kind of dirty, and I'm a clean freak. Will tumbling the bullets using my SS media in water and soap harm the incendiary effect of the round? I know that would kill a tracer bullet, with the component in the rear, but I believe the incendiary component is deep inside. Anyone? Hate to make a bunch of duds.

I would not wet tumble API's. I just tossed them in the rotary with fine corn cob and a little mineral spirits to get the black sealer off them. 10-15 minuts did the job.
