I’ve read horror stories, replied to a few threads regarding Christensen Arms, said never...
Been eyeing one for a while at LGS.. Really like the feel of the gun, light and what I was needing.. well wanting..
Heard good from a few with first hand experiences.
My sweet wife bought me one, early Christmas present and it’s a keeper, so is she..

Topped it off with a Trijicon 4.5-30 x56 Mil

Loaded what’s been working well in my bolt guns, 41.6 Gr 4350, checked Ogive and gave it .20 thous off lands. New Starline brass, 210M primers and 140 ELD M.
Went to range today for initial break in, no issues feeding or ejecting and very smooth.
Ran 3 cleaned, repeated for a total of 15 down the barrel.
Didn’t chrono anything today, groups on 1st nine were just ok but tightening up every round fired and getting better. Let it cool after a good cleaning ran 6 more and am very impressed.
Will play with load charge weight, neck tension and seating depths later.
Want to take it out and see how it shoot out to 600 yds..

I had my concerns, but am very happy with the results seen today. Will be dedicated hog and varmint gun. Have a ATN Thor HD 2.5 - 25 x 50 for night work...

Looks like you lucked out, nice gun. You going to hunt with it or have other plans?

I was pleasantly surprised, after I splattered the first 3 rounds all over the place I thought to my self oh shit... After cooling and cleaning I began to see the pattern tightening up, repeated the process of every 3rd shot cleaning regiment the first nine.
I shot the last 6 rounds at 103 yds also in 3 shot sets with a clean and cool between.
i must say I was pleased and relieved..

You can bet your ass I registered it with Christensen the day my wife bought it for me. Going to watch the progression of break in closely and if problems come to haunt me it will be sent back. Don’t see that happening, it’s shooting nice and feeds and ejects like a dream...

Planned on a hog and varmint rig with thermal use to. Going to continue the break in process and start doing some in-depth load development for it.
If it holds shooting true it would be a nice rig to take out to 600 to 800 yards.
