saiga .223 or saiga 7.62x39???

I can't decide which one to get. I'm guessing the 7.62 would have better knock down power, but .223 would be more accurate. The saiga can run any cheap Russian ammo, so price between the two is minimal.

So which is "best" for hunting and why? Hunting hogs at 200 yards and under.

7.62x39 works great on hogs in Georgia and Florida. We don't shoot'em that far away, but I'd say 100-125 my Saiga 7.62x39 holds minute of hog pretty good. In the wide open under feeders I guess .223 would be OK, but it will not do the damage of the 7.62x39. Have you looked at the .308 Saiga? Ammo is higher but you don't have to worry about the hog's opinion on the subject if you have to look for him!
