Im looking at one of these for now instead of doing a custom build. My main target rifle is a 243ai and im wanting this for a truck/hunting gun but would still like do a bit of target shooting with it. My questions are
1. Will the 1/11 twist stabilize 208 amax 210 bergers i have a bunch of 208 amax
And i figure with the 1/11 i should be able to go from 125 to 210. And how will the bigsload in the mags. Or is this a single shot with them That will give me a large amount of bullet and powder selection. And i could use alot of the same powders i do with my 243 ai
2.how heavy is the barrel they dont look like a pencil thin barrel but how do they hold up to target shooting
3. Is there enough length at the end of the half fluted barrel to have it threaded 5/8 24 for a can. Looks like it but just want to make sure. I dont want to have to rebarrel to get what i want.
4. Is the stock good enough as it is. Or would i want to upgrade. I know its preference but im used to h.s. and mcmillian. And $1500.00 on a gun is a lot to have a crappy stock. Im sure its good its sako. But i want something up to h.s. mcmillian etc standards. Thanks to all
