Sako TRG repalcement bolts?

Re: Sako TRG repalcement bolts?

Got a spare trg22, just thinking what I can do with it.

Grab another bolt, open the boltface to magnum, and maybe try a 7rsaum on one. No idea if it will work, or what needs to be done to a $175 magazine. Just ideas...

Other option is short barrelled 260REM.

If you're thinking about a RSAUM, WSM or the like, I'd run it on the TRG42 .300 WM platform. You'll be able to load the best bullets long that way. If you can't afford another TRG, sell the spare 22 and get a 42.

IMO.

Re: Sako TRG repalcement bolts?

See, I know this guy... He lives in Waynesboro, GA and is IN LOVE with TRG's like PETA is to puppies. Right now your "spare trg22" is akin to a neglected puppy and I'm frickin Pamela Anderson. Don't you want puppies to have good homes where they'll be pet (this WILL happen to a TRG), fed good food (168 & 175 SMK reloads), washed regularly (kept super clean), and become a member of the family (Ruger 10/22, RRA AR15, Rem700 .308, Sako TRG, EDM M96 Windrunner)?

That just sounds perfect to me. I'll even allow you to name it as long as you keep it in the Rocky theme. Names already taken are thus:

10/22 - Mickey
AR15 - Rocky
Rem700 - Apollo
EDM M96 - Clubber
Sako TRG - ????

So, based on this argument of puppies and Rocky, I can only come to the conclusion (as I'm sure you have too) that the "spare trg" should be relocated from down under to Georgia (USA not eastern Europe). Think about it over a couple of XXXX oil cans.
