Let us know what you find with the heavy bullets.
I shoot the 168's (Hornady Match). Tried the AMAX, but they weren't as good as the BTHP match. The 168's are phenomenal in the 1:11 barrel.

I know there's tons of threads on the TRG's but this is just in time for me. I'll be getting one next week with the necessary goodies.
A couple months ago I scored a deal on 1,150 168 SMKs. Since then I bought some 2x Win FC brass and dies. I believe I've read these bullets shoot from the gun so I'm hoping they work with Varget.
To the OP, I hope you get the info you need. I did some searching in here and on google using 'snipers hide' in the search engine and got a ton.

155 scenars. Best match bullet for 308 as far as I am concerned...if you can get them to shoot in your rifle. They shoot fine in my TRG.

That's a key bit of info. Some people are shooting the heavies in 308 now, so I didn't even think about it.

I'm using Black Hills 180 grain Accubonds with much better results than FGMM, Hornady match and TAP 168's. Both kinds of Hornady shot identical POI and group sizes.
I use my rifle as a hunting rig, so I was looking for a bullet more geared for that purpose.
