I tried to locate some reviews of this for use as cheap practice ammo, but was unable to locate anything. I decided to buy a case and take a risk as typically Swiss ammo is pretty good stuff (gp11). Turns out it runs sub moa at 100 yards from my 20" GA Precision. Not bad for $0.50 a round. Pictured a two five round groups of Saltech as well as a group of 168 grain fgmm for comparison.

I was just looking at this ammo on sgammo.com today. Your report makes this a compelling option, thanks for sharing.

Are you guys talking about the saltech M80 ball 150 grain?

yes sir, 150's. Yesterday I shot several .5-.6 5 shot ctc's at 100. Another nicety is lower recoil vs the 168 and 175 grains I shoot.

I bought a couple of boxes and shot some of it yesterday. I only tested to 100 and 200 yds out of my AR10 while sighting in a different scope, but it groups quite nicely. I got 1.5 MOA out of it. A precision rifle with a bipod or bags would certainly do better, since I easily account for a large percentage of inaccuracy there.

I will order more of this!
