Same OCW node with different type but same weight bullets???

Curiosity question...

I used OCW and found a great load using 155 grain Palmas in my Rem LTR .308 using 46.5 grains of Varget (Thanks Dan!). I now want to work up a load using 155 Amax. I will definitely back off and work up using OCW again, but was curious if anyone has substituted the same weight bullet in a different brand and had similar, or very close, nodes? Should the nodes be close? What have ya'll found???

My node for the 168SMK is the same as Hornadys 168gr BTHP

work up, of course, but the node should be in the same place... OAL will vary, as to best grouping.

Nodes are based on barrel transit time, which varies as a product of bore/bullet diameters and bearing length; assuming all other load parameters remain unchanged.

Got some interesting results, but I want to shoot it again to make sure it's not a fluke. Node appears to be the same. I'll post pics after I confirm results.
