Nice ones! I was up there the same weekend. I love that river, been going there for years. Man the water seems to keep getting lower and lower though.

Ya I remember years ago, there was no getting to the North side bank by walking and now there is a ton of places you can cross. Last weekend was really slow, only caught 10 total. Weekend before was awesome though, caught 91. How about you guys?

Thu I caught 15. Fri 3. Spent most of the day with my son trying to teach him the art of nymphing. Sat was on fire. We myself, Steve and my son stayed in one hole above the braids and caught at least 40 fish....just there. Then we moved and continued catch them. I'd say I caught at least 40 on Sat.

Just watching my son was priceless....

Wow, that's a good trip. Glad you guys did well. It's always nice to see young fisherman on the water. I'm sure you guys will enjoy it together. Me and my dad have been making two trips a year up to the river for about 16 years now. It's always fun, if were hooking em or not.

If you ever make it up this way give me a holler. We can make a quick run up to the lake or run up to Colorado for some high mountain fishing. You ever been up to Valle Vidal? Those cutthroats are awesome.
