I am highly considering a Manners or MCMillan stock for my 110 HS Precision but I need to know if the bottom metal on this is the same as factory or if I would need to have a special inletting ordered. I have my eye on a couple stocks with factory DBM inlets and I'm ready to pull the trigger but I don't want to have it re-inletted or buy a new DBM. Anybody have the answer for this? Savage customer service is ok for certain things but I dunno if I trust them to give me the right answer. I know Accurate Mags are a direct fit to factory DBM's and they make this DBM so I'm hoping it's the same. Thanks in advance

This is the 110 HS 338 Lapua. It appears that the Bottom Metal on this is different than what is standard. Although it might be different, I'm hoping it has the same perimeter or dimensions as the standard LA DBM.

so far no one has bought that thing yet to tell whats what and then he may not have a factory anything to direct compare to. but when you get yours... post pictures

I have the gun already, that's not the issue. I wanna order a stock for it and everything I see says inletted for factory DBM. I know this is a factory DBM but I think it's a different DBM inlet than the typical one. If it is different, then I could probably just sell the stock with the DBM for a package deal to somebody looking to get into a LA DBM set-up for a good price. Thn I could just get an Accurate BM that'll fit right in...

Just talked to Accurate Mag and Manners. Accurate says that it is the same bottom metal they manufacture to fit a standard savage LA DBM Inlet. That answers the question. Looks like I'll have a new stock soon and also one for sale lol. Now which camo to have it dipped in......

Not particularly, I've just always wnated a Manners or Mcmillan and I found a couple good deals that would be worth the investment. The HS is great and I really like it, just looking to make my rifle a little different especially since I already saw another guy with the same rifle at the range! Not gonna fly with me lol. I'll be selling the HS once I figure out if I want the MCM or Manners

I wonder if that HS stock would work with a Savage 10FCP with some minor mods. If so you might have a party interested in your take-offs.

A factor 110 action will bolt right into the action. The 10 is too short it wouldn't work. accurate Mag makes the bottom metal to fit a factory Savage inlet and its only $150. I figure I'll sell this stock then all somebody needs to do is get spend that $150 and they're into a new stock and DBM set-up for a very good price.
