Savage 110 SA 22-250 DBM

Just bought a new (Gen 3) 110 in 22-250 w/DBM. Should hold 4 in the box but only 2 will work, the bottom 2 get hung in the mag. Typical Savage, I had a 22 with a 10 round curved mag and it would only cycle 2 rounds. What is it about Savage and mag's.... Ha

I have a 110 tactical in .308. Feeds perfectly with MDT polymer mags. I usually just use An MKM sled and top load it as no mags allowed in FClass.
My understanding is PMAGS were initially designed to work in REM. 700 actions. I had a couple a while back and they worked fine in my Savage.
Are you sure using PMAGS? Or MDT?
