Does anyone know what footprint on the MDT HNT26 chassis that Savage uses for their short action calibers for the 110 Ultralight Elite are? I know it would seem like common sense that they would use the Savage SA footprint, as MDT offers that chassis in that footprint, but I'm getting conflicting information from different sources that say one of three things: A) They use the Savage SA footprint, B) They use the Remington 700 footprint, or C) Depending on availability, cost, and other constraints, Savage may elect for a certain sku, or production run, to use one or the other footprint with different actions that they call both a Savage 110 action. I just need to know for undisclosed reasons. Thanks.
