My Proof prefit shot awesome in my Savage action. This will be no different. Maybe change out the stock is all I would be temoted to do on this.

Honestly a savage rifle I can't dog too hard. May have the typical ejection issues but should shoot great groups.

Test report in my new American Hunter shows shooting factory Hornady 147 ELD Match ammo with an average group size of .5". Smallest group .4 & larges .6 . Not bad for a rifle with a factory suggested list price of $1499. Wonder what actual street price could be? Haven't found that yet.
