Savage 116BH

Does anyone have one? If so, exactly how long is the barrel without the muzzle break, how well does the adjustable break work and is the barrel a heavy fluted one? I gather it does have both accu trigger and stock.
I really wanted an fcp k in 300 winny mag but cannot find one anywhere. Thanks for any info

I believe the barrel is 23" without a muzzle brake. I don't have experience with the brake, but I believe Savage says it reduces recoil by as much as 40% The barrel I believe is a fluted heavy mag contour barrel.

Thanks a lot for the 411.
In the pic it sure looks to be heavy fluted.
I have to wander if the muzzle break on the Long Range Hunter is bettee or should I say different than the 116 BH.
Of course, I would imagine the LRH muzzle break could be ordered from Savage.
Ive also considered contacting the Savage Custom Shop
to have them possibly getting me the FCP K in
300 winny mag like they used to make.
But.....it dosent seem I would be gaining anything
except an inch of barrel and the different break.
