Rifle Scopes savage 12 ftr base and rings for NF 56 obj.

I will be picking up a savage 12 ftr this weekend and would like to order rings and bases for it before I pick it up. I will be using a NF NXS 8-32x56. I will need a 20 moa rail of some sort, and really dont have a preference on rings. Something of good quality and a fair price would be nice. What are you using?

I would look at the Farrell base and rings. The savage precision target 20 moa base and medium steel rings works well with my Sightron 8-32x56.

Depending on how much you want to spend. Maybe an EGW base.

I know a lot of people have the same combo.. What are you using? I really cant spend $300 for rings and a 20 moa base, but can do $200 for both.

I have the Farrell RTS 1-20 base and the medium 30 mm rings. The base was already on the rifle when I bought it lightly used, so decided to try the rings. With a dealer account at grafs ( c&r FFL), it is a lot cheaper. Cost for rings and base is a little less than $200 + shipping.

Just remember to get a mount with NO recoil lug. For cheap I had have good luck with the Weaver tac base and 4 hole tac rings on another Savage 12 in .308. It has a lug you would have to Dremel off though.
