It depends how fast you shoot it (how hot it gets).
Don't use any of the break in mouse milk products. Just shoot it, keep it cool, use a coated rod & bore guide and clean it when groups start to open up. Any other "break in" proceedures just wear your barrel out faster. Savages are noted for good barrels so they don't need "treatment".
