Recently rebarreled a savage short action and put it into an MDT oryx chassis. The problem I’m running into is when the round is stripped from the magazine it sometimes wants to yaw a little bit and it’s causing the bolt to bind when moving forward into battery. If you back the bolt up a little it corrects itself. Im using mdt polymer mags but I also have tried ai mags as well. Any ideas would be helpful! Thanks in advance!
