Savage Action Threads

I have a .223 savage action. The rifle is a Model 11 and I would like to get a barrel for it. My question is... will any savage .223 barrel thread into that action or do I need a barrel specifically for a Model 11 action?

Yes.
I'd look at EA Brown for either one of their accuracy barrels or one of the ER Shaw barrels they sell. You can order directly from shaw, they make a good, OEM type barrel. You'll want a 1-8 or 1-7
