So here is the problem I am having and I'm hoping that someone here can help me. I have a Savage 111 trophy hunter xp and I'm looking for a stock that I don't need to buy a whole mess of other parts for just to make it work. I've been able to find stocks that accept the bottom bolt release lever, but I must buy the bottom metal parts to use the stock. If anyone on here can help me out that would be great.

If your going with say a boyds stock give them a call and they can give you the part numbers of the items you need. Then a quick call to savage with the part numbers and they will have them on the way.
the xp models have the mag well built in the stock, you can go to savage website and buy the regular steel mag well, your trigger guard should swap over and your actions screws will work as well. If your magazine has the little plastic tab coming off the floor plate, you will need the regular floor plate also. I just built my wife a rifle out of an xp model and had to buy those parts.
So...are you just looking for a better stock and want to keep the current configuration, update to a floorplate, or are you looking to add some sort of DBM setup? Is it currently a blind magazine setup?
