I recently Acquired an older Model 10 Tactical with a flat back action. Is my action screw spacing going to be compatible with the current short action chassis systems. The screw spacing is 4.275. I can't find specs on action screw spacing in the MDT website. I think that I want to Fit this into the Oryx Chassis but want to make sure it will fit. Also This action is a staggered feed I believe..... Any help would be great! I'm new to Savage rifles.

I want to say one of the action screw holes in the Oryx is oval and has a reversible "washer" that allows for 2 different spacings.....but I could be losing my mind.
What action screw spacing works with the Savage Short Action?
The Savage SA option supports both top and bottom bolt release as well as 4.27" and 4.40" action screw spacings.
