Savage HS stock DBM Question

I just picked up a savage HS stock, the vertical grip. It is the 4.40 with the DBM bottom metal. I was planning on converting to a AICS type mag system. I can up with 2 system:

Accurate mag
CDI precision

I know I need to inlet the stock for CDI. BUT it looks like the Accurate mag will drop in. Says it fits accu stocks with the bolt release built into the action. Does anyone know if this is a drop in?

Cdi makes two for the 4.4" savage, one for the factory bdl type and one for the factory dbm. I have a cdi dbm type and it drops in perfect in two different hs/factory savage dbm inlets. In fact one is the vertical grip hs stock u are referring to.

Yep CDI says you made to do very minimal clearancing on the side walls but basically a drop in. Accurate Mag does the factory AICS compatible metal so yes they drop in.
