Savage LRP and 6.5 Creedmoor Questions

I'm getting my son a Model 12 LRP in 6.5 creedmoor for christmas.I have never owned a savage or 6.5.So I wanted to get some opinion's on break in for the rifle and load development.I have read alot of the other post on this caliber and got some ideas.As far as components all I have bought is some H4350 but I have some other powder such as varget or H414 or 4895 that I load for other guns.I would like some feedback on dies,bullets,etc.I have lee and redding dies for other calibers and have had good success with those.Would you break it in with factory ammo and how.Thanks in advance for opinions on all these questions.

It comes with break in instructions. If you don't have any brass go ahead and get 200 rounds of the 140gr Hornady factory ammo. I would not bother trying other powders if you have h4350. Go ahead and get some 140 amax bullets to do load development too. Factory oal with various powder charges is a good start. Load in half grain increments from 41.5-43.5 (watching for pressure of course) Chances are you will find one that shoots very well. Mine likes 43.5.. Use whatever dies you like.

Easy gun to get running correct. I loaded mine to factory OAL using IMR4350 and 140 Amax bullets. Ended up at 39.8 grains. I started lower and worked up. I haven't changed my seating depth as I haven't needed to. I am pretty sure there is another node that I can reach without pressure issues, however this load shoots lights out and will reach any distance I have available to me, so I see no reason to go up.

I have a Savage Predator Hunter in 6.5 Creedmoor, and it likes 41.7gr of H4350 with a 142 Sierra Matchking or 43.8gr of H4350 with a 130 Berger. It shot the factory 140 AMAX pretty well too.
