I did the custom search and read a few threads on some extractor issues people have had with their savages. Unfortunately, I believe I can also fall in under this camp. Lately I have been having some failures to eject on my mark 2. The frequency of the FTE's became so bad that I disassembled the bolt and cleaned the firing pin and the extractor and chamber guide or whatever its called. Cleaning did not fix my issue so I called savage and have a new extractor as well as an extractor spring clip inbound at no costs to me (thank you Savage). I just wanted to make this thread because the other thread lacked pictures and I wanted to post them to see if anyone had an opinion as to what caused the damage/wear.
