Savage Mark II TRSR Threaded 22 lr

I chatted with Savage yesterday afternoon in regards to their Mark II TRSR.

For those NOT familiar its their 22" threaded 1/2 X 28 (Suppressor Ready) that sports the button hook type stock.

This was a special run rifle for Lipseys earlier in the year and has since become a SCARCE rifle to find.

Savage stated yesterday that it WILL and IS becoming a added feature to their catalog and will be available for distribution at the beginning of the year. The EXACT time frame is unknown... but she did state that it WILL be out and readily available.

I was LUCKY enough to find one yesterday and will be able to take delivery of it early next week. I had been wanting a "trainer" rifle to play/practice with.

Now... the fun part of finding a scope for it...

Funny thing is that I DONT know yet.... They said it would be a great price though as they were not having to sit on it....

I will be picking it up next week... so I will let everyone see it and looks like I will be going with a VORTEX scope on it to play with..

I wanted one a MarkII that was stainless varmint in 22LR, but they only come in a thumbhole stock, I hate thumbhole stocks.

So I am torn between the one you have on order and a stainless "dumbhole" stock and a 16" blued threaded one. !@#$%^&

You want the FVSS model then... F= synthetic stock, V=heavy barrel, SS=stainless

Just got back from picking up my TRSR.... Now... I am looking for a scope and some other junk

It really is a great looking and feeling rifle.

You want the FVSS model then... F= synthetic stock, V=heavy barrel, SS=stainless </div></div>

They do not make "FVSS" in .22lr
