I picked up a 2009 model of the Mark II 22LR a while back. For the money I paid 179 I can't argue much. It was new wood stock, bushnell 3x9x40 just the standard model. However no accu-trigger. This is my only complaint. What is the best route to go to get a better trigger. Will a savage accutrigger be a drop in change and what do they cost? Or should I go with another brand. Off a bench I can 5 shot group a little smaller than a nickel at 50 yards but when it comes to a longer shot off a bench it would be nice to have a trigger with a pull that wasn't as heavy as the rifle itself! Any suggestions? Also would like to change the stock. Anyone make a good synthetic replacement? Thanks

Cabellas/Rifle Basix. Savage * Rimfire MKI MKII 93. etc. $99.99

My Brother Bob has this one and likes it. I think that's cool, but I also think it's a bit too pricey.

BTW, my Kitties (Precious, AKA Preshaluffagus, on my lap as I type, and Coppertone, AKA Spunk) have the same feeding setup as the one in your picture.
