Savage MK2 Action screws help please

I got a new stock and the screws for the action are to short but their size is 12-32. does anyone know where i can get this oddball size? Any help is grateful as i am unable to shot until i find some longer screws or come up with a better solution.

Sounds like u are in the same boat Im in. I have called Savage 3 times and they have sent me the wrong length screws 3 times after I gave them model number and serial number. i also asked Savage ( very knowledge able lady who answered phone ) if they could just give me the 12 32 screw in a longer length and she said it did not work that way. Anyway if u find some please let me know.

I hope i can find these screws and if not then i plan on having my buddy make a few of them....what i dont understand is why did savage use such a random screw size and also why do most places make a tap fo this size but no screws wtfo

I'm in the same boat; need some about 1-1/4" long. I've not been able to get what I need from Savage, and have exhausted myself searching on the net and all local suppliers.
I'd love to have some made, too. I don't know anyone who can do it, though.

I may be headed to the same boat next week.. finally got the $ for the new bottom metal to convery my 93fv into a BTV
