I ordered this Savage stock (MKII LV 22lr / 17 HM2) from Numrich today to replace the synthetic stock on my Savage MKII FVT 22lr. I wanted just a basic stock that wouldn't break the bank (so to speak), and if I have to do some modifications on this thing it's no big deal. The price was right ($61.00) and it comes with the trigger guard, magazine plate, and butt-plate. Seemed a better deal to me then what I was looking at from Boydes (and they do have some fine stocks), and I do expect to have some work and tweaking to do with this stock. Anyway, it's a good project.
