I would like to have my Savage TR stock bedded (there is not anything even under the front magazine screw for it to pull against, when you torque the screw it pulls the metal magazine plate in) and possibly add a third action screw(have seen this somewhere else but can't seem to find it now.) Would like to know who could do this job?

Not too sure about the third action screw, but im wondering if you could use alloy tubing cut to length for the screw on the magazine portion of the bottom metal.
I will probably get around to this in the near future when my new stock arrives.

I just made a new bottom metal for my MKII. I made it out of 1/8" aluminum plate. I added a hole for the third action screw. Now I need one more action screw as well as all three need to be about 1/8" longer. I will let you know if it helps.
