Ive got a savage mod 12bvss that i bought about two years ago and im getting tired of it in its current incarnation. Id like to use the action and stock to build a short barrel .260 thats a little more manageable than my rem 700.
My question is can i replace the current .223 internal magazine with a stock replacement? I know they make a version in .308 so if i could just find one of those im pretty sure it would handle .260 This mag looks like its just kind of wedged in there and im not sure how to get it out. Anyone have any ideas?
