I'm trying to set up a Model 10 with HS Precision stock with OPS Inc 12th model suppressor. Any suggestions on long distance optics? Also, does bedding make a signifigant difference? Thanks for any info

my 10fcp is in an HS and its bedded. i didnt do a before and after, i just bedded it. scope, wow. spend 2x as much as you can afford and get a nice quality scope. you have to chose. and if you think ford -v- chevy -v- mopar is a big mess, uso -v- nf -v- vortex and so on will make you dizzy. plenty to read in optics and plenty to buy in used optics. i wish i had 1600 laying around cause id have a bad ass scope coming in the mail

Set aside a couple evenings to pour over the optics section and you'll find lots of info on optics.
Bedding usually does help, and is worth the cost. My Savage went from ~0.75MOA groups down to just under ~0.5MOA after a bedding job.

thank you everyone for the suggestions. I have a leupold tactical scope right now but am looking to make it accurate as far as possible, I have plenty of 5.56 for everything less than 600 yds and a .50 for longer than 1600 yds, but really want to make this rifle my project. I'll be posting more suggestions when I get my new rifle, again, putting an OPS inc. suppressor on everything I own! Thanks again everyone

I had the same thing just happen. Since I just left Ft. Bragg, I though I had some kind of Trojan Horse in my computer. Happy that is not the case.

get a 16x SS and call it a day. They are about the best optic you can get for under 900.00
