Savage model 12

I purchased an old model 12 .308 for 600 with about 250 rnds of various factory ammunition. I really have no use for the gun actually so, what can I expect to get out of it if I try to sell? It is a flat back receiver no accutrigger. The barrel is stainless and fluted but the receiver is blued I'm not to sure what that is about. Is there anything special about these models I should be aware of?

The model 12 should have come with the target accutrigger. Sounds like an aftermarket trigger like a rifle basix or something and the barrel sounds aftermarket.

What's the stock on it?

Probably close to what you put into with the ammo. I'd probably put it on here for around $550 OBO with ammo and you might get some interest.

You would be better off selling it on SavageShooters.com. I would bet that if you actually decided to shoot it, you would not want to get rid of it...
