Hi Everyone, Im new to this forum, and would like to say hello to everyone. I've seen some pretty amazing stuff from most of you.

I got my first .22, the Stevens M15-B. Has anyone ever had one before? I am baffled at how simple this rifle is, and even more at its accuracy. It has a 16" bbl, 4x16 center point scope, and threaded muzzle for a future suppressor (When i feel like paying 200$ for the form1) But so far i love it! I hear a lot about stevens not being very good, but mine seems to do fine for my first. I was able to get sub 3" groups at 200Yds and can hit 16oz watter bottles 4 of 4 times, if conditions are good. and was still able to hit a 10" plate at 275yds. using Winchester 555 HV bulk rounds. I found that the Model 15-B's were only made between 1943 and 1948 and i've fired well over 2000 shots with no problems. I was just wondering if anyone else had one and how it compares to modern rifles such as the 10/22 in accuracy.

Re: Savage Stevens Model 15-B

Actually, it was my older sister's first rifle! She shot it for about 10 years and then it became my first rifle.I had it for about 15 years when my sister asked if she could have it back to give to her son. I lost track of it after that.
It is a great, simple and accurate rifle...
